These pages contain coding for embedding MIDI music files in a web page.   Any MIDI music file can be coded to play on the page.  The code can be tweaked so the song plays when the user clicks a button, or to just play automatically when the page is opened so that the user has no choice but to listen to the music.  This is a subversive way to force the viewer to listen to something.

Despite the cheesiness of the MIDI sound, there is something very endearing about this type of music on a webpage.  It’s also a fast and easy way to give a page sound since MIDI files are so small–usually just a couple of KB’s.  There are tons of free MIDI composing programs out there, so one could easily write their own music to play.
