Vischeck allows you to apply three types of colorblind vision simulation to your images and websites. There is also a tool called Daltonize, which will color correct images according to the three types of colorblindness which are: Deuteranope (a form of red/green color deficit), Protanope (another form of red/green color deficit), and Tritanope (a blue/yellow deficit- very rare).

1 in 20 people have some form of colorblindness, this is rarely considered when designing. Adjustments for colorblind users are hard to anticipate, especially if the designer is not colorblind. Vischeck allows web designers to see through the eyes of this user population, in order to asses any changes that need to be made to make web content more accessible to all possible users. These kinds of considerations are especially important if you are designing for any type of governmental organization, where universal access is a must.
